Stewart Creek

Located on 30 beautiful acres outside of Clatskanie, Oregon, Stewart Creek is a dream come true for Kat and Rick Katterman, owners of Course-Walkers.

There are two main barns, the smaller of the two has hay storage, tack and feed room, shop, bathroom, laundry and heated water for washing horses.  The larger barn has 12x12 stalls and a 60'x96' covered arena.  Behind the barn is a sand-footed sacrifice area.

Outside we have a 100'x150' turf outdoor arena, 50' roundpen, and plenty of space for pasture where our horses spend most of their time.  The pasture is also home to a variety of jumps and obstacles, designed to challenge both horse and handler.  The view on a clear day reveals Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Helens.

In addition to all of that, there is access directly off property to many miles of maintained trails, both easy and more challenging with dirt tracks, logging roads, open areas, dense woods and creek crossings.  Wildlife abounds and we regularly see owls, deer and elk.  With different length loops, a trail ride can last 20 minutes or 5 hours, and are all interconnected.

If you have never been here, welcome.  If you have before, welcome back!  Things are always changing and growing, so don't wait too long to visit again.
